Hello and welcome!

I was born in Hollywood, California. Raised under a golden sun in the San Fernando Valley, in the 1970's and 80's. Growing up, I was always being exposed to something fantastic. We were always going to museums, various galleries and art shows. I grew to love photography through those times. Ever since I can remember, I have been watching others, learning from photographers and their works. My Dad used to take photos of me when I was a kid, with his old Nikomat 35mm camera, with a good old 1.2 lens. When I turned 16, he gave me that camera.  I’d build sets in my bedroom, practice shooting commercial ADs, using soda cans, jewelry or whatever I could get my hands on. It became a passion of mine. I was driven to do it. I wanted to see what I could do. I realized after a while, what was driving me. It was something primal. I was being driven by my Emotion. How I reacted to a thought, how it made me feel in the moment. We all want to experience the good emotions in life. We all feel something, whether it's good or bad.

When I shoot, I lose myself in the moment. I think we all need to get a little lost sometimes, get away from the distractions in our everyday lives.

"It is one thing to photograph people. It is another to make others care about them by revealing the core of their humanness".
